You may now view Who’s got game? on RTV and cast your votes for the BEST PLAYA PLAYA. The results from the online votes will be announced at our next LIVE TAPING on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 6pm at the Roy Arias Theatre at the TIMES SQUARE ARTS CENTER, 300 West 43rd Street, 6th Floor. Tickets are online at www.therianttheatre.com and are $10 if purchased by Thursday and $15 if purchased after Thursday.

Your name will automatically be placed in a drawing to win a CASH PRIZE when you see the show online and cast your votes. We also had a dance competition, where audience members danced to our theme song Who’s got game? Help us choose the best dancer online. The dancer with the most points wins a CASH PRIZE.

New York City hold on to your seats a new Improv Show is taping live on Sunday nights! The show begins on Sunday, October 22^nd at 6pm, and runs thru Sunday, December 17^th at the Times Square Arts Center at 300 West 43^rd Street in the Roy Arias Theatre.

Van Dirk Fisher, the founder and artistic director of the Riant Theatre and producer of the critically acclaimed Strawberry One-Act Festival, presents a dynamic new improv show called: WHO’S GOT GAME?

20 actors have been chosen to compete for the title of Best Playa Playa. Each week the actors will partner and compete to win points from the theatre’s judges and from the audience. Each week one team of two actors will be eliminated. At the end of the night the audience will cast their votes and decide WHO’S GOT GAME? The (2) actors who manage to make it to the final show on December 17^th will then compete for a CASH PRIZE of $500.00. But the cash prizes don’t stop there! At every show audience members qualify for a chance to win $100 or more just by casting their votes.

The Judges are Karen Page, host of Riant! Riant! Arts & Entertainment, Robert Pemberton, director and performer, Kristin Hoffman, director and Van Dirk Fisher.

Tickets are $10.00 if purchased by Thursday, October 19^th and $15.00 thereafter. You may also purchase VIP tickets to see all 9 shows for $100 and receive complimentary drinks, reserved seating and a WHO'S GOT GAME? T-shirt.

There are also discounts for bringing your friends. If you bring 3 friends who pay full price you get in for free; if you bring 2 friends who pay full price you get $10 off your ticket price; if you bring 1 friend who pays full price you get $5 off your ticket price.

The videotaped show will air on Riant TV (RTV) at www.therianttheatre.com/video on Monday through Saturday 24/7 where viewers can pay $15.00 to view the show and cast their votes and also have an opportunity to win more cash prizes for playing the game.

COURTNEY FLEGE WINNER OF THE OUTDOOR STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL WILL APPEAR ON SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO, ON NBC AT 1AM, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14TH

We are proud to annouce that Courtney Flege, the 11 year old singer from Williamstown, who won the Outdoor Strawberry Festival for singing was the Child Star of Tomorrow at The Apollo Theater. The show will air on Saturday October the 14th on NBC. The show was hosted by Whoopie Goldberg, and Courtney and her friends all got to meet Whoopie. She sang Chain of Fools by Aretha Franklin, and received a standing ovation from the world famous Apollo audience.

Also, on the move . . . alumni, Yvette Clark, who performed at the Award Ceremony & Performance for the Strawberry One-Act Festival in February and appeared in the Riant musical SOMEBODY'S CALLING MY NAME, is touring as Motormouth in HAIRSPRAY. Be sure to see her performance when the show comes to your city. She's sensational and all the critics have raved about her performance.

Audition for Improv Show: WHO'S GOT GAME?

Auditions are being held for the new improv show WHO'S GOT GAME? To receive an appointment for Thursday, October 5th call the Riant Theatre at 646-623-3488. The show will begin Monday, October 16th and run for 10 weeks on Mondays ONLY through December 18th! Seeking actors, recording artists, hip hop dancers, comics, and spoken word artists. No pay.

20 ACTORS WILL COMPETE FOR $500 WHICH WILL BE GIVEN TO THE ACTOR WHO WINS THE GAME. ALL ACTORS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL 10 SHOWS TO COMPETE.
